The echidnas 🦔 scientific name 'Tachyglossus' means fast tongue 👅 and it's easy to see why they have that name. Their tongues can move in and out of their tiny mouths 👄 100 times in a minute. Mini Flattie has been in our care 🏥 for a few weeks after being struck by a vehicle causing their beak to fracture in multiple places.
